Privacy policy

KnowPLM collects as little as possible. There is no advertising, no cross-site tracking, and no cookies used for tracking. The only personal data collected is what you type into the contact form.

What is collected

The contact form. If you send a message, the name, email address, subject, and message body you enter are submitted to Netlify, which hosts this site, and forwarded to a private mailbox. That information is used only to read and reply to your message. It is never sold, published, or used for marketing, and there is no mailing list to be added to.

Server logs. Netlify records standard request data such as IP address, timestamp, and user agent for every visit. This is ordinary web-server logging, done by the host rather than by this site, and is used for security and reliability. See Netlify's own privacy policy for their retention practices.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and privacy-preserving: it sets nothing in your browser, assigns you no identifier, does not follow you between sites, and does not collect personal data. It records aggregate figures such as which pages were viewed, the referring site, and the country — never anything that identifies an individual reader.

Because it is measured in the browser rather than from server logs, it counts people rather than the automated crawlers that make up most raw web traffic. That is the whole reason it is here.

What is not collected

• No advertising and no advertising networks.
• No cross-site or cross-device tracking.
• No tracking pixels and no social media embeds.
• Fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page does not reveal your IP address to a font provider.

Browser storage

This site stores exactly one value in your browser, under the keytheme, recording whether you chose light or dark mode. It stays in your browser, is never transmitted anywhere, identifies nobody, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. No other cookies or storage are used.

Retention

Contact form submissions are retained while they remain useful for correspondence and are deleted when they are not. Server logs are retained by Netlify according to their own schedule.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction with comparable law, you have the right to request a copy of any personal data held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to its processing. In practice the only such data is a contact form message you chose to send.

To exercise any of these rights, or to have a message deleted, use thecontact form and say so. Requests are handled promptly and at no cost.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than made quietly.
